Grade Level Expectations
Developed by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
Specify skills that students should master at each grade level within each content area
MAP tests in grades 3-8 in Communication Arts, Math, and Science are based on the GLEs for each grade.
What are CLEs?
Course Level Expectations
Also developed by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
Specify skills that students should master within each course (English, Math, and Science) at the high school level
End-of-course exams will be based on the CLEs for each course when they are administered beginning in the spring of 2009.
