"Mrs. Dame’s ability to share the love of music with her students and community is uncanny. Her student’s say that choir is a huge part of their lives and that it is because of Mrs. Dame that they love music. Mrs. Dame’s accomplishments speak for themselves. Beyond the awards and recognitions, she continues to teach with a passion that is unmatched. I cannot think of a more deserving person to receive the Outstanding Music Educator of the Year Award," - Dr. John Mulford, Superintendent of Schools.
