To celebrate March as Youth Art Month, members of the Missouri Art
Education Association could submit up to four pieces of student artwork to the
MAEA Youth Art Month Exhibit held at the State Capital in Jefferson City. Four
students from the West Plains Middle School were chosen to represent the art
program including: Elizabeth Buhler, 8th Grade; Amy Hutchinson, 8th Grade;
Chloe Howell, 7th Grade; and Nina Nietmotka, 5th Grade. It is quite an honor to
be selected for this exhibit. The students chosen represent the quality of
visual art education statewide and showcase visual art programs throughout
schools, districts, and communities in Missouri.
