The South Central Culinary Arts Team placed 2^nd at the Missouri ProStart competition Friday the 17^th in Union, MO. The contest was held at East Central College with 32 Missouri teams competing.  The students had one hour to prepare a 3 course meal with only 2 portable burners and no electrical equipment. Each member of our team received a $4,000 scholarship from Sullivan University and a boning knife from Dexter Russell. There was also a $500 cash prize for the program.
